On June 11 the representatives of Ecological Law Centre together with the population of Temca arranged a press conference. The Centre demands from the City Hall more attention and sterner control over the landscaping service.

Landscaping commissions attached to Tbilisi regional administration board draw inefficient and biased conclusions about the conditions of trees. They refer to absolutely healthy trees as withered and accident-risk. Consequently hundreds of healthy trees are cut down in Tbilisi.
To stop such unlawlesness Ecological Law Centre appeals to City Mayor Gigi Ugulava, to let experienced specialists of Ecological Law Centre join in the work of the landscaping commission. They will provide objective and transparent resolutions about problematic questions.
