In Digomi, in Beliashvili Street a new edifice for sanitary City service of Tbilisi City Hall has been built. In the process of construction all building waste was thrown into the Mtkvari River. In consequence of pollution the Mtkvari changed its direction on the mentioned spot.
 In connection with this fact the representatives of Ecological Law Centre arranged a press-conference.

Such a great amount of garbage and earth had been thrown on this area that in case the river rises, it may possibly inundate the mentioned territory.
 The situation in Belisahsvili Street is very grave. There is direct evidence of environmental and river pollution. All this provides criminal and administrative liability of the doers.
 Ecological Law Centre has already sent a corresponding letter to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection in order they should on their part deal sternly with the mentioned offence.
